Mr. Bar-Siman Tov is an economist, holding a master’sdegree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Economics and Business Administration and spent 11 years in the Ministry of Finance. Prior to his position at the Ministry of Health, he served as the Economic Minster at the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C.

Prof. Dina Ben-Yehuda MD
Dean of the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School

Professor Dina Ben-Yehuda, MD, is an internationally recognized physician- scientist, hematologist and investigator in hematological malignancies research. She is the director of the Hematology Division at Hadassah University Medical Center and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A graduate of the Ben-Gurion University Health Sciences Faculty, Ben-Yehuda completed her internship in internal medicine and hematology at Hadassah and post-graduate studies at the Center for Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York. She is treating patients with hematological malignancies and is leading innovative research in the treatment of malignant lymphoma using innovative approaches in combination with extensive clinical work. She is the leader of the Jerusalem Center for Computational Precision Medicine and Co-founder of the Sagol Program for Computational Medicine at The Faculty of Medicine.

Erez has over 16 years of experience in global senior roles in the medical device industry. Dr. Dadia established the surgical 3D printing service in 2016, while acting as Deputy Director of Orthopedic Oncology of the National Unit at Sourasky and has played a pivotal role in introducing 3D planning and printing into major surgical disciplines, becoming a leader in defining the future standard of care with Israel’s Ministry of Health.
A lead surgeon and unique expert in complex orthopedic oncology surgeries, Dr. Dadia also has experience as a research associate in the MSk Lab at Imperial College London. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked there as a clinical advisor in a multidisciplinary team, researching software development and 3D printing and planning of patient-specific instruments, designed for bone tumor resection surgeries.

In her current role, Neta-li leads medical teams to execute AbbVie’s medical strategy in the Specialty Care Unit therapeutic areas including neuroscience, women’s health, hepatitis C and ophthalmology. Additionally, she leads the country’s Business Development arena, responsible for exploring the Israeli ecosystem for new technologies and platforms to augment Abbvie’s internal innovations efforts. Prof. Dimitrios Karussis is Chairman of the Neuroimmunology Unit and MS Center at Hadassah and the MS/EAE neuroimmunology laboratory. He has published > 150 peer-reviewed scientific papersand delivered > 250 invited plenary lectures. He serves on the editorial board of many major journals. He has been member of the Executive Committee of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS). Prof. Karussis has pioneered studies with the novel immunomodulator, Linomide and with bone marrow and mesenchymal stem cell transplantation in MS. He is considered a world expert in the field of clinical applications of stem cells in neurological diseases. He has served as elected President of the Israeli Neuroimmunological society and as President of the World Congress of Neuroimmunology in Jerusalem.

She is a member in the executive committee of the Israel Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She is a member of 8400 – The Health Network, and Co-founder of the Israeli Society for HealthTech where she heads the Fellowship Program and Education Committee. Her main field of interest is the investigation of drug administration and toxicity to the retina, early detection of macular degeneration and home monitoring of retinal disease. She has been leading several cutting-edge technologies implemented in large-scale clinical trials and in clinical settings: the home OCT, a first-of a -kind artificial intelligence-enabled algorithm for monitoring retinal diseases, utilizing an OCT device in the patient’s own home, and the development of a technology implementing virtual reality in vitreoretinal surgery.

Eran is Global R&D leader for Point of Care Ultrasound at GE HealthCare. In this role, he leads the development of cutting-edge product strategies and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions meet customer needs and requirements. He also serves as Site Leader in Haifa, fostering a culture of collaboration, diversity, and development within the team.
Prior to joining GE HealthCare, Eran spent nearly 20 years at Intel in senior engineering leadership roles across a wide range of products. In his most recent role at Intel, he served as Senior Director and Portfolio Engineering Manager for the Smart Network Interface Controller product line, overseeing projects and activities worth approximately $1 billion and managing global teams across geographies.
Eran earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.

Dr. Tamar Raz has nearly two decades of experience in technology transfer and an impressive track record of bringing medical innovations from the lab to the marketplace. Prior to joining Hadasit, she served as VP of Marketing and Strategy at Ramot, the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University. Tamar was the founder and CEO of Allergene Ltd, an Israeli drug development start-up company. She received her MSc and PhD in cell biology from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine.

Prof. Michal Rosen-Zvi PhD
Director, AI for Healthcare and Life Sciences, IBM Research

Prof. Rosen-Zvi is the Director, AI for Drug Discovery at IBM Research and an adjunct Computational Medicine Professor at the Hebrew University at the Faculty of Medicine. She is also heading the AI for accelerated HC&LS discovery department at IBM Research, Israel. Michal holds a PhD in computational physics and completed her postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, and the Hebrew University in the area of Machine Learning. She joined IBM Research in 2005 and has since led various projects in the area of machine learning and healthcare. Michal has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. She is a member of the iScience Editorial Advisory Board, a member of the Israeli National Council of Digital Health and Innovation and an elected member of the Board of the Israeli Society for HealthTech.

Shirley Shapiro Ben David MD

Shirley Shapiro Ben David graduated from Hadassah Medical school, Hebrew University and then specialized in family medicine.She completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases and continued working in the Infectious Disease Unit at Wolfson Medical Center as a senior ID physician until 2022.
Since 2021 she is Head of the Infectious Disease Unit and Chief Consultant in Maccabi Healthcare Services.
Her current research/scientific interests focus on vaccine-preventable infections, antimicrobial stewardship, the efficacy and safety of vaccines against COVID-19 and COVID-19 care in the community. Shirley has contributed peer-reviewed articles publications and has presented her research work in national and international congresses. She is a member of the Israeli Society of Family Medicine, Israel Association of Public Health Physicians, the Israeli HIV Medical Society, the Israeli Infectious Diseases Society and IDSA.

Cofounder and Chair of the Israeli Society for Health Tech. Hedva has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of drug development, R&D, and safety of medicinal products. She established the Global Pharmacovigilance division at Teva Pharmaceuticals and served as the company’s Senior VP for Global Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety. She is a consultant for biotech companies on drug development, drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
